Shrinking your new Gi:

To shrink your new Gi wash in cold water and then dry on high heat for 20 minutes at a time.  Try the Gi on if it fits hang dry otherwise repeat process until you achieve desired size.

Fast Dyed Gi:

If you have purchased a Gi that may have been dyed (Blue or Black) you want to wash the Gi before using it to bleed out any excess dye that is still in the material.

Washing Instructions:

Always wash your Gi in cold water this will help lift stains such as blood, sweat and dyed materials (warm water sets these stains into the material).  After washing either dry on low heat or hang dry. NEVER use bleach!!!   It eats cotton fibers and will shorten the life of your Gi.
